Description: India’s most loved president APJ Abdul Kalam was from Rameswaram and for me it was an amazing experience to visit this street dedicated to him. The street includes museum called Kalam House that documents his illustrious life quite beautifully which is the same house that he lived in growing up on the Mosque Street. The house is now converted into a museum and has photographs, certificates, doctorates, honours and awards showcasing his life right from his childhood days. All his scholarly works are also documented here. The two storied building is maintained by his elder brother. The city of Rameswaram loves APJ Abdul Kalam as you cannot go by in the city without a reference of somewhere or the other.
