Description: Reached Mangalore really late and what a good decision it was to chose Gajalee for dinner. The ambiance is awesome and the place is really well maintained.
The food is truly awesome, the best included the Stuffed Pomfret, Masala Fry Pomfret, Tandoori Crab and the Ghee Roasted Chicken. The Butter Garlic Prawns was okay as the hint of pepper was a bit too much on it.
For the main course, the Mutton Biryani was alright, but the Chicken curries, Kolhapuri and Butter Chicken were very well made. They truly know how to use the spices well.
Would have given it 5 stars but the pricing is on the higher side so a 4.5 suffices.
